BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER - Data Platform Services
What does it take?
As a Business Unit Manager and future Partner you will lead, partner with and inspire a dynamic group of data architects, modelers & data engineers. You will assist our customers to deliver a sophisticated cloud or hybrid data platform at enterprise scale. You'll provide leadership, focus, and clarity by collaboratively capturing a cohesive architectural vision and strategy, orchestrating the roadmap, and prioritising execution and delivery of our data platform services team - making solving complex data challenges look easy and delivering measurable value to our people and to our customer's business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You'll evangelize and articulate the value of our customer's data platform.
- You will inspire the team with a strong sense of purpose and inspire customers with (y)our completeness of vision.
- Design Hybrid & Cloud based analytics solutions that drive business and are impactful.
- Explore new technologies and figure out how to use them best.
- Lead multiple projects with many moving gears
- Come up with creative solutions to modern problems
- Set high standards for your team and yourself.
- Organize company-hackathons for challenging problems.
- And last but not least, you will get full responsibility to further develop strategy and vision of our Data Platform Services team. Of course this comes with full P&L responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Science/IT/Computing and/or demonstrable experience in architecting complex analytics environments.
- Preferably a first experience in leading a technology team.
- 10-15 years Data Platform for Analytics experience.
- Knowledge of all modern modeling techniques (Kimball, Datavault, ...)
- You posess a blend of technical and inter-personal skills
- String willingness to take the lead in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to contribute time and effort in commercial activities.
